When in Italy, the best ice cream or 'gelato', comes from the 'artiginale' vendors - which means it's house-made (fatto a casa). We feel our bike camps are also artiginale, or of artisan quality. We craft every detail of camp, in the hopes of creating the perfect cycling vacation - for you. We are not a big company and we run less than ten bike camps per year so you won't find us burned out, nor will you find a cookie cutter approach to your vacation. Our camps are original and personal, and we thrive off of word of mouth.

We are committed to empowering you on the bike, and off. Mastery is the key to success on the bike, and the lessons learned while cycling will definitely improve your life off the bike. We believe in your almost infinite capacity to improve. We define success on the bike as the ability to ride economically and with great joy. Riding safely & being comfortable on the bike are also priorities. And riding fast is fun too - we love to rip the occasional descent, but that's only part of the equation.

At Bike Camp, what you do for a living doesn't concern us - instead we focus on you as a cyclist. Our disparate groups come together under one roof as cyclists, we respect each other's abilities and capacities and nurture or nudge you - and each other. We hope to change your life or maybe the way you view life, even just a tiny bit. Yes!

We try to lead by example both on and off the bike. The environment we strive to create is calm, yet festive, respectful yet playful, adventurous yet safe. We like to joke around, but we take our business seriously. We work on your vacation. We think it shows. Bike camp is in the details.

If you aren't much interested in the scenery and the cuisine, or the kinship - then maybe Bike Camp is not for you. We focus on great group rides (yes, we stick together - often somewhat loosely), but the training part is done before you come to camp. Camp is where you reap the rewards of your fitness (whatever level you have achieved).

While at camp, we encourage you to look up, smell the roses, and definitely enjoy the scenery. Our routes are a visual - and sensory - feast.

We hope this helps those who have not been to camp before. We don't advertise, we don't produce brochures, we rely almost exclusively on good word of mouth. Satisfied clients come back, year after year. We love what we do - we hope you will too.
